CWAGS Obedience

CWAGS Obedience Level 1

  • Sundays at 4:30pm starting on May 5. Class dates are May 5, 12, 26 and June 2. No class on May 19.

Classes are one hour long and run once per week. $150+gst

CWAGS OBEDIENCE is a fun way to ease yourself in formal obedience competitions or to elevate your team’s obedience and heeling skills. Through this four-week program your team will learn heeling skills, how to find front and heel position, position changes and staying in a cued position as well as practicing the greeting exercise. Each week the teams will work on heeling as well as an additional exercise in CWAGS Level 1 Obedience.

Prereq: This is an advanced level class. Teams in class should have had previous training in basic obedience and be able to work with ease in a classroom with other dogs.

CWAGS Obedience Level 2

CWAGS OBEDIENCE is a fun way to ease yourself in formal obedience competitions or to elevate your team’s obedience and heeling skills. Throughout this four-week program your team will learn and practice all the exercises that are required to pass level two in CWAGS Obedience.

Prereq: This is an advanced level class. Teams in class should have had previous training in basic obedience and be able to work with ease in a classroom with other dogs. Having the skills to pass level 1 CWAGS Obedience is highly recommended.

CWAGS Obedience Level 3

  • Sundays at 5:30pm starting on February 25. Class dates are February 25, March 3, 10 and 24. No class on March 17.

Classes are one hour long and run once per week. $150+gst

CWAGS OBEDIENCE is a fun way to ease yourself in formal obedience competitions or to elevate your team’s obedience and heeling skills. Throughout this four-week program your team will learn and practice all the exercises that are required to pass level three in CWAGS Obedience.

Prereq: This is an advanced level class. Teams in class should have had previous training in basic obedience and be able to work with ease in a classroom with other dogs. Having the skills to pass level 1 & 2 CWAGS Obedience is highly recommended.

Our CWAGS Obedience Classes are taught by Janilee Benell CPDT-KSA, CTDI

Janilee Benell, CPDT-KSA, CBATI-KSA, CTDI started out with a passion for helping reactive and fearful dogs reach their fullest potential. In 2016, she competed for the first time with one of her dogs in WCRL Rally obedience. Since then, she has gone on to title four very different dogs in multiple venues and sports. One of her favorite things is watching a team learn and grow together through formal obedience type skills.
